Sónar Celebrates 20 Years With A New Venue by Day

Sónar Barcelona celebrates its 20th anniversary with a line-up that reaffirms and celebrates its personality, and with a change of venue for Sónar by Day, which moves to Fira Montjuïc, in Plaça d’Espanya.

This year Sónar reinvents the uses of an emblematic space, shortens the distance between Sónar by Day and Sónar by Night and maintains its centrality and its status as an urban festival with its new location for Sónar by Day in Fira Montjuïc.

Long Overdue Sonar 2012 Review

This years Sonar Music Festival in Barcelona was bigger and better than ever. With more than 160 Off-Sonar events surrounding the main event itself. New Additions to Sonar 2012

Sónar 2012 adds today more than 30 new artists to its line-up, including 2 shows from Flying Lotus, UK's Simian Mobile Disco in promotion of their upcoming album, the dark synthpop duo from Canada Trust, and the Russian techno dj and producer Nina Kraviz.
