Goldielocks

Goldielocks is sort of the anti-popstar claiming “I donʼt want to be famous, I enjoy music, making music and being creative without limits. I don't want to make music for 14yr olds. I want to make music that makes people feel something. I hate the charts, music rip offs and everything sounding the same.” The EP ʻIʼm Not Herʼ is inspired by London, underground music scenes - 2step / garage / grime and dubstep, paranoia, relationships and concealed emotions.

Some information on the new E.P. 'I'm Not Her'... The Benga collaboration came about after a journalist, called saying Benga was looking for a female vocal on an electro track. She had heard of Benga and was into the dubstep scene especially coming from Croydon and growing up listening to pirate radio. The two began making beats at Benga's home studio but when he realised she made her own beats and was more into garage and dubstep they got started on some of their own productions the end result was track 'Green Eyes'. ʻAddictʼ is self written and produced, ʻNeon lightsʼ is co written and produced with Dreams 2.5 finally ʻCold Sweatʼ is co written and produced by Synth Girl.

Swindle

Introducing Swindle; a multi-talented musician and producer, hailing from South London who took a keen interest in music at a young age, learning to play the piano aged 8 and recording his own music by 13. Taking influence from Jazz, Reggae and Soul artists (including Miles Davis, Bob Marley and Stevie Wonder), Swindle focused his energies on making predominantly Grime and Hip Hop beats whilst attending college.

Whilst working on MC Sedman’s Mix CD ‘The Takeover’, he was introduced to renowned engineer Danny C who began mixing down Swindle productions at his Aim Music Studios.

He then received the ‘Best Newcomer’ Award in Touch Magazine, courting the attention of actor and MC, Asher D (of Brit Award Winning So-Solid Crew). Asher signed him to the production arm of his independent record label ‘AD82 Productions’, leading him to produce ‘With You’ featuring Mutya Buena (then of the Sugababes).

At present, Swindle is working with a number of artists whilst in the process of recording his debut album, and has since been snapped up by urban music consultants Soul 2 Streets.

Under their guidance, and having set clubland alight last year with the massive track ‘Airmiles’, Swindle is now very much in demand for Remix work by some of the hottest artists around, adding his own unique vibe to tracks including:

Terror Danjah ‘Zumpi Hunter’
Cherri V ‘Skool Daze’ featuring Wiley
Eric Roberson ‘Borrow You’
Bashy ‘When The Sky Falls’ featuring Loick Essien
Estelle ‘Freak’

Bringing us up to the present day. Swindle released his brand new EP - Who Said Funk – on Monday 15th March, featuring female vocalists Shea Soul, Natalie May, Nadia Suliman, Miss Fire & A.L.
