Lokesh Jones

'Hipnotic minimal Lokesh Jones takes you on an exciting journey with a steady unrushed lift off. Close your eyes and its like surfing sound waves. The genius of Lokesh is that just as the wave is about to fizzle out he sends another one for you to catch.  Its truly refreshing to be entertained by an artist who ensures the journey is the focus rather than simply trying to wow with a grand finish.

He keeps you on the ride with cleverly interspersed audio treats to break any routine and keep you curious. This trendsetter's stylish play morphs into almost any environment. He has been playing crowds from Chiringuitos on the beaches of Barcelona to swanky club GURU, where he is resident, and of course the Warehoused Parties.

When you want to feel good vibes...find Mr Jones!

Warehoused - 24.09.10

This is third installment of the WAREHOUSED parties, this Friday the 24th of September.  Given the success of the past events, you can be certain that this is a night, not to be missed.  Lee Van Dowski, will be headlining the event along side, some of the best DJ/Producers Barcelona has to offer.  You can expect an evening of deep expressive music from Lee Van Dowski, who has earned the name, the dark prince of uplifting electronic music.

Lee's DJ sets are similarly spirited. "Technically, I like to surprise myself," he says. "I like to do a long, smooth mix, and then a radical one… It's important for me to try telling a story, so of course your technique is another way of doing that, along with the music itself. With time and with age, maybe, the tempo really decreased—I think I play a bit deeper now than five or six years ago. But I still love a
good, bouncy track if it's not too aggressive, and if the energy serves the groove instead of breaking it." Slowing down also means stretching out. "I like to play long sets," he continues, "when you don't have to rush, and you can really forget yourself and build something different."

See you all Friday!!
