Tyondai Braxton

Tyondai Braxton is an American composer and performer mainly known as lead singer/guitarist from rock group The Battles. Born and raised in Connecticut and Northern California and son of avant-garde composer Anthony Braxton. Having studied composition at The Hartt School of the University of Hartford, his complex compositions present a unique version of sound.  His “orchestrated loops” involve real-time overlaying of guitar, voice and found objects, designed to simulate an ensemble. Ghostwaves

Hailing from Connecticut, GhostWaves has been getting a lot of play recently and Lo-Fi Dream Pop never sounded so good. His paranormal remixes are extraordinarily warm, fuzzy and loving. From his bedroom dancing ready remix of “Boyfriend” by much love and hated Best Coast to his contagious solo material Ghostwaves is a force to be on the look out for.
