Bibio (real name Stephen Wilkinson) from the West Midlands, England, is a one man band that combines acoustic guitar, tape loops and field recordings to create a collection of beautiful processed and organic sounds. He developed his passion for experimental music during his stint at Middlesex University in London and since then has developed his own style which has recently been licensed to Toyota, Adult Swim and L.L. Bean to name a few.
A lot of those things are still in my work now but I'm looking to move away from that, I don't simply want to be repeating myself.
The vinyl format is now awaiting a repress and is expected to ship for the 18th of April on WARP.
