Jam City - Classical Curves

Conceived from a love of the legacy of US dance music, the musos of Chicago house, Detroit techno, London’s grime scene and all the other mutating forms of contemporary club music, Night Slug’s Jam City, the one behind the collossal ‘Magic Drops’ and recent single ‘The Courts’, drops his debut album. ‘Classical Curves’ is a deconstructed club throwdown, taking the timeworn blueprints we know and love and hurling them down into the dance grinder. What comes out on the other side are knee-snappin’ drum patterns, tape hiss, classic house saxophones, colourful slap bass and cruising synths.
