Light Asylum - Shallow Tears

Light Asylum, certainly one of the best underground acts in New York City, are finally ready for the full-length spotlight. And no, they haven't gone (that) pop. "Shallow Tears" is a single but also the first taste from the group's self-titled debut LP for Mexican Summer. It maintains the expected fog and goth aura with thundering drums, cheap synths and theatrical vocals but has the sort of hook that will stick with you long after that first listen.
